Hi, I'm Me'kelle — wellness coach, mama of four, and the founder of Capacity by Design™.
I'll be honest with you, because I think the honesty is the point: I'm not writing this from a finish line. I'm writing it from the other side of a wall I hit hard — still messy, still learning, still in it right alongside you.
In 2015, I bought my first Pilates studio and threw everything at it. Back then, I thought health meant hustle. So I poured into my family, my clients, and my business until there was nothing left for me. On paper, I had it all — the business, the babies, the dream. But somewhere between the overachievement and the under-nourishment, my own body started to unravel.
By 2018, I couldn't ignore it anymore. So I did the thing that terrified me — I sold the studio. I had my third baby. And all the way down, I knew: I could not go back to the burnout cycle. Not I shouldn't. I couldn't. My body had taken the decision out of my hands.
Here's what I learned in the unraveling: I didn't need a better map. I needed to become a wayfinder.
You know the moment in Moana when Maui doesn't sail the boat for her — he teaches her to read the stars, to feel the current, to trust the pull in her own chest even when the storm comes? That's the work. I'm not here to hand you a template and tell you exactly who to be. I'm here to teach you to read your own life — your energy, your body, your North Star — until the compass becomes yours. Something no one can take from you. Something that doesn't break when the season changes.
That's Capacity by Design™. And it's the difference between where I was and where I am.
Here's what I believe:
✔ You don't have a discipline problem. You have a discipline surplus.
✔ Your body isn't broken — it's finally telling the truth.
✔ You don't need a map. You need to become a wayfinder.
✔ Your ambition isn't dangerous — not when it stays anchored to your North Star.
✔ Motherhood is messy, and that does not disqualify you. Presence beats perfection, every time.
You don't need to push harder. You need to build different — with someone in your corner who isn't pretending to be perfect either.
Most of my clients first walk through the door for “health” — just to get out of survival mode. And then something else happens. She writes the children's book. Starts the blog. Goes back to work — or finally leaves the job to be home. Launches the bakery, the podcast, the dream she'd quietly shelved. Not because I handed her a perfect plan, but because she learned to read her own life again, and trust it.
That's the real work. Not perfection — a compass that's hers.

1. Stabilize
First we steady the ground — sleep, fuel, and the basics that stop the freefall — so your body has something solid to stand on before we ask anything more of it.
2. Regulate
Then we calm the nervous system. A body stuck in survival mode won't let go — of weight, of energy, or of the tension you've been carrying. Regulation is where the exhale finally happens.
3. Calibrate
Now we get precise. Using your own rhythm and data — your energy, your cycle, your Oura — we tune nutrition and movement to work with your body instead of against it.
4. Embody
Finally, it becomes who you are. Not a protocol you white-knuckle, but a way of living your body trusts — capacity that's actually yours to keep.
